The harsh realization that occurs when I am reminded of the huge damage Katrina caused on New Orleans. Although much work has been done, there is still a humongous amount of work left to be done.

While driving through New Orleans yesterday, I saw abandoned grocery stores with the waterline still visible and the windows all boarded up with plywood. The katrinalization that ensued caused a painful pang in my midsection.

Pretending what would happen if you said something really rude or nasty to someone, or if you did something pretty mean or dissed someone on paper in someway.

An example of whatiffing I did today, while typing up a paper:

The world needs to find more fair solutions to the growing environmental situation. We need to look for solutions that are not harmful to the environment, and to try harder to harvest reusable energy. This is some serious shit and we gotta watch our backs ya heard me fat bitch?

Procrastinating drinking any liquids because one is worried that one will have to go pee during the coming few hours.

pull an all-weekender

To stay awake all weekend long.

Although I didn't have a good reason, I decided to pull an all-weekender so I could finish the Blockbuster movies before they were due monday.
