Neurally Resocialized

1. Another synonym for brainwashing, mind-tampering, etc. Introduced in the manual for Blizzard Entertainment's hit PC RTS game, StarCraft. Refers to the Terran factions' practices of forcibly conscripting people, usually criminals ("culturally challenged persons") to serve as infantry, and wiping their memory. They are described as being "Freed from any previous allegiances or ideologies." It has been speculated that the Resocialization process is excruciatingly painful.

In the cinematic trailer for StarCraft II, a convicted murderer was being encased in a suit of Marine armor. He must have been Neurally Resocialized.

movie game

1. an excuse by a large marketing corporation to capitalize on a source material, usually a movie, decent or not. Usually a piece of garbage so bad that it doesn't even deserve a rental (i.e. most Lucasarts games between 97 and 2003), with few anomalous exceptions (i.e. Revenge of the Sith, Chronicles of Riddick,The Clone Wars, Battlefront). Just as there are movie games that suck, there are also game movies made after excellent games that shame the game/entire series itself (i.e. Doom, Tomb Raider, Bloodrayne), although some times there are movies and games made at the same time based on each other that suck equally (i.e. Aquaman: Battle for Atlantis, Superman 64). For these reasons, companies that commit these horrible deeds have sold less because of the large increase of trusted game reviewers.

person1: Dude, did you hear the review for that Chronicles of Riddick movie game?

person2: Yeah, that was a big surprise.

StarCraft: Ghost

A Blizzard Entertainment game, from the StarCraft series that started development in 2001, with a planned release date between 2002 and 2003, but development had been placed on hiatus as of 2006.

Planned initially for the PS2 and Xbox game systems, a GameCube version was also in the works, but cancelled in 2005. The employees of Nihilistic Software, the company that was developing the game, had quit en masse due to an internal power struggle with Blizzard, and Swingin' Ape Studios was acquired by Blizzard to continue work, at which point the GCN version was dropped to concentrate on the other two versions.

The game's story was set four years after the events of StarCraft Brood War, the expansion to the original game. It was centered on the missions of the Terran Dominion Ghost Operative, Nova, who is trying to uncover the secrets behind the project Shadow Blade; aimed with using terrazine gas to transform Ghosts into shadowy superhumans known as Spectres. In her encounters, Nova uses some familiar and some new technology and abilities used by Ghosts, from cloaking, to locking down enemy robotics, to using her psionic powers to perform daring superhuman feats of strength and agility.

StarCraft: Ghost looks like a cross between Metal Gear Solid 2 (or Splinter Cell) and StarCraft.

PS2

A famous video game console created by Sony. Well-known for its many, many 3rd party games. This relatively free and unrestricted competition of publishers and developers accompanied by a lack of serious 1st party support has earned this system a reputation synonymous with capitalism.

Most of the games for the PS2 are not produced by Sony. And there are more well-reviewed 3rd party games than 1st party games.

An mmorpg freeware game by some Korean company. It is FUN and ADDICTIVE. The only monetary component of the game is the Item Mall, in which players with credit cards or paypal accounts can purchase exclusive ingame items. This game was not designed to take money from people, but to leave big names like WoW and EQ2 without souls to control.
