Ayob

Australian in origin, this term denotes a first date that is filled with socially awkward mishaps. It stems for "yobbo", but is extrapolated to denote a date where a thugish young male filled with false bravado reverts to social awkwardness.

Alternatively, it can be used to describe just a first date that is filled with awkward acts by one party.

"Oh my god, I had the worst Ayob last night. He kept mispronouncing my name and tripping over his own shoes"
