St Pius X

St Pius X was the Pope of the Roman Catholic Church from August 1903 to his death in 1914. He is known for opposing modernist interpretations of Catholic doctrine, promoting liturgical reforms and orthodox theology. He directed the production of the 1917 Code of Canon Law, the first comprehensive and systemic work of its kind. He is known as the Patron Saint of First Communicants, for lowering the age of first communion to 7.

He is also known as the patron of Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre’s FSSPX (Fraternitas Sacerdotalis Sancti Pii X), which is an Anti-Modernist Priestly Fraternity.
