when a pair or more of friends tell their parents that they are sleeping over at each others houses and then do something entirely different

Kathy: Hey I wanted to see Rick this Saturday didn't you say you wanted to see Devan?
Sarah: Yeah I did say that. What're you thinking?
Kathy: I'll tell my mom I'm over your place, you tell yours you're at my house.
Sarah: Round robin?
Kathy: Exactly.
