a person who identifies as “pansexual” is someone who doesn’t love (and probably doesn’t care) based on outer appearance, and is more interested in the heart of the person.

A pansexual is attracted to a person’s interests and character, and if they happen to be “handsome” or “beautiful” or “attractive” physically, that is only seen as a bonus.

guy one: are emily and maya dating? i didn’t know maya was a lesbian!

guy two: she isn’t, she’s pansexual. that means she doesn’t care about the gender of her partner, as long as they’re a nice person.
