To openly stare or be agog at someone or some thing in a shocked or disbelieving manner. Usually refers to watching the unexpected occurrence of an uncommon or sleazy act.

At the beach a young woman took her bathing top off and all the men instantly took a gork at her breasts.

the traffic slowed due to the accident. some of the drivers gorked at the wrecked cars and the injured people as they passed by.
