Could also refer to something that was faked cheaply, such as using edited footage to disprove unedited footage. However, this usage has not been recorded at this time.
Speaker: That live, uncut footage of a politician is a cheapfake.
Listener: Did you mean "deepfake"?
Speaker: No, I'm perfect and never make mistakes. "Cheapfake" has always been a word.
