Peacocking

The display of a fragile male ego; does something small that he wants a lot of attention for so he brings it up excessively.

"My boyfriend fixed the toilet at work and he's been peacocking all week."

"One of them will get motivated one day and spend the day doing it. After that, they'll walk around making a HUGE deal about how they did it for weeks. 'Peacocking', I believe it's called."
