A play on words; Another way of saying something/someone is being a pain in one's ass, or causing one grief. A great way of cleverly insulting someone without their knowledge.

Pedro: Agh, James is being a real painus.

Rebekah: Painus? What the hell is that.
Pedro: A pain in my ass, that's what.
