To look at a subject through multiple personalities, often with the result of contradicting one's self.

Tony#242: "That hockey team sucks. No matter what they do, they'll never, ever be good."

Tony#243: "I agree. It would take at least two trades to make them a winner."

Tony#242: "Woah... I think that I just pulled an observer on myself."
