Cringe

A socially awkward situation caused by usually the telling of a poor joke, an action people witness (eg crying when drunk), or blurting out a comment that is taboo. A silence follows where the people who witness it feel a deep sense of embaressment for the person but as if they were the ones who had done the embarassing thing.
ie you ''cringe''

1) knock knock
whos there?
lettuce
lettuce who?
lettuce in....*Awkward silence

2) Man did you see john last night? he got absolutely off his face drunk, called his ex girlfriend begging her to take him back & spent the night crying like a little girl....*cringe

3) everybody is chatting but one voice raises above the rest causing a silence ''i once tasted my own jizz''.

Black Eyed Peas

''Is it cause we don't wear tommy hilfiger or baseball caps, we don't use dollars to represent, we just use our inner sense and talent''

From the song ''Fallin Up'' off their notoriously underlooked hip-hop album Behind The Front before Fergie came along & they were a hip-hop trio with a female vocalist Kim Hill accompanying them on some tracks

Black Eyed Peas to old fans are often called sell outs, not because they switched their music up though some will argue they strayed from their roots. But because of how they wrote the lyrics stated above in many of their songs & now have completely gone against their word

Behind The Front

Black Eyed Peas debut album with the new artist Taboo joining & female artist who provided vocals though never officially a member Kim Hill (before the band consisted of ''WillX1 & Apl'' in Atbann Klann)

Amazingly 99.9% of people wouldn't believe they were listening to Black Eyed Peas, their debut album was pure up hip-hop reminiscint of Souls Of Mischief unlike their now commercial techno/electronic sound filled with autotune. Many old fans of the band lament at how BEP have completely gone away from their roots & become hypocritical as Behind The Front referenced to artists selling out & how BEP were going to keep it real, it also contained some brilliant rapping. The album is a gem in any hip-hop fans collection.

Black Eyed Peas ''before & after'' era is often split by when Fergie joined the band. A piece of trivia, Fergie only got into the band because their original female artist who sang with them Kim Hill left due to ''artistic differences''.........Old fans take this to mean the new era when BEP moved towards a more commercial sound.

Fingers crossed that if BEP break up the individual artists will go back to hip-hop material like behind the front, though it seems unlikely with the success they have had in recent years

JJ72

Irish alternative rock Trio, Formed in 1996 whilst in secondary school, signed in 1999 & broke up in 2006.
They were hailed on the underground music scene as a band that was going to become extremely popular alongside then underground Muse & Coldplay

The band were most noted for 2 things
1) Lead singer Mark Greaneys voice, one that was a melding pot of Thom Yorke, Matt Bellamy & the singer from Placebo, all with Greaneys own ability to howl at the top of his lungs in key
2) Hilary Woods the female bassist who to put short n sweet, a fucking gorgeous rock chic. Later replaced with Sarah Fox upon her leaving the band also extremely attractive.

They released two albums their self titled debut which was extremely well received across the board & their second album I To Sky, an album less well received but noted as fans as an album that grows on you.
As far as i can gather the band ran into difficulties with the initial loss of their bassist (even though she was quite shite) & then with their record company, speculations have been made that their record company were unhappy with sales of the second album, the direction of the third album & legal fights over some stupid shite.
The band after being bogged down unable to resolve the disputes to get around to releasing their 3rd album 4 years after their second album called it a day. The recordings have since been leaked in demo forms to youtube & as of 2011 still no third album has been released officially.

JJ72 were around for but a short time, whilst their legacy left behind was small consisting of only about 40 songs. It is still highly regarded by those that remember them, For eg their Last FM page has clocked over a million hits despite the internet not being as commercial for music as it was back in the early 00s

Another band that got flushed down the shitter over bad management & promotion, the usual thing that holds back most Irish bands from ever making an impact on the international market

Mark the singer has since done solo works, the only one of the band & employed a new band under the name Concerto For Constantine with ex Idlewild bassist Gavin Fox & ex BellX1/Frames drummer Binzer.
As of yet they are unsigned & no albums have been released despite playing Irelands highly acclaimed rock festival Oxegen.

pescitarian

Omnivore who has a preference to seafoods, is not a vegetarian in any shape or form.
Omnivore = eats plant & animal

vegetarian = won't eat animals based on them being conscious & feel pain

Pescetarian = eats plant & animal, more specifically fish

Usually done for health reasons over ethical, vegetarians dislike the title pescetarian as they often refer to themselves as vegetarians to save hassle of explaining what a pescetarian is. Thus vegetarians are associated as eating fish & this is seen on menus as vegetarian options

Pescitarian/pescetarian is a slight change in spelling.
