a metaphorical sense of the word meaning the way guys toy with you, such as "dangling a carrot" in front of your face like you're a donkey until you finally just feel like going up to them and screaming "i hate you for doing this," which would then fastly be followed by total embarrasment, so you never get up the courage to carry through with it...so i had a bad day
