swoop the nest

1. (verb.) To flirt with the intent of hooking up with someone, or making them your significant other

2. Often accompanied by the hand gesture of a bird first going down, then coming up over your head, acting out the "swooping" motion.

3. Sometimes shortened to "swoop" for brevity.

Caitlin: Haylee, I saw you flirting with that boy yesterday. You were tryna swoop the nest, huh?

Haylee: Shooo, girl, u know I was tryin to swoopity swoop up on him!
