A genre that mixes grunge with hardcore punk, post-hardcore, and/or emo. Part of the Emo Revival/the wave scene. Bands like Metz, Citizen, Balance and Composure, Pulled Apart By Horses and My Ticket Home. Occasionally mixes metalcore with grunge.
The most popular band that's in that genre is Basement but now there more neo-grunge than Grungecore.
People who likes people that look like the opposite sex. If a male who sexually attracted to a person that looks like a women despite whether they identify as a male or female and vice versa they're non-traditional straight.
Being non-traditional straight kind of blurs the line bisexuality and heterosexuality.
An alternative rock genre that's quieter than normal alternative rock. Kind of like Hard Alternative(or Alternative Metal) that's louder than normal Alternative rock. Bands like Bastille, Mumford and Sons and Bleachers. Soft Alternative generally leans more toward folk rock, synthpop, new wave and pop rock than hard rock and metal like Hard Alternative.
Soft Alternative is really popular in the 2010's.

Young people usually in their 20s and early 30s who listens to classic rock or dad rock and not much else.
Dad rockers tend to not like new music.
