A depressing subculture. Subculture deriving from 'sub' (below) and 'culture' (culture) meaning "Below/insignificant/lower culture".

The collective term for which is unanimously a 'futility of emos'.

I was down at my record shop, and towards the back I saw this massive futility of emos just standing there silently.
