A bitty-bit is a further, more exact specification as to how somebody likes their tea. Commonly used in the Newton-cunningham region of Donegal, Ireland, it is known as a way to direct the maker of the tea with the exact amount of milk. A bitty-bit in terms of measurement is just a bit less than the common English "spot" but a bit more than a "drop" of milk, which is most prominent in the southern regions of Ireland. The same measurement can also apply to cream in tea or other things such asi the amount of content in a business presentation.
Ah ye will ye will ye will have a cup of tea Father Ted! Sure, I'll only put in a wee bitty-bit of milk in for you.
