slut

A term used by a man in reference to a woman who won't have sex with him.

Men do not refer to a woman with whom they've had sex with as a slut if they are holding out any hope of sleeping with them again. Such a pejorative word would greatly reduce their chances of said event to reoccur. A woman who a man has actually slept with is seldom referred to as a slut by that man.

"I heard that journalist is a total slut."
