Schlep

A Yiddish word translating roughly to "carry around". Often used as slang by Jewish-Americans to describe being annoyed about having to carry something or go somewhere.

Ex #1:
"I can't believe you have to schlep that backpack around school all day. It feels like a ton of bricks!"
Ex #2:
"Do we really have to meet at that restaurant? It's such a schlep from my house."
