punitive honking

punitive honking is when someone honks after the fact, not as a warning of danger or to make the other driver more aware, but simply to show the honker's displeasure.

Janie: I don't know why he had to honk now, I saw him in my rear view mirror, I had plenty of space, I slowed, I had my blinker on to show I was parking.
Ronna: Oh he is just punitive honking to show his displeasure that there are other drivers on the road.
