Arsch

The German word for "ass", but often used as a term of endearment between friends. It is generally uttered after the typical salutatory "Hallo" (hello).

Typical in the Northern regions of Germany, particularly in the working class neighborhoods of Nord-Rhein Westfalen (North-Rhine Palatinate), Arsch has undergone considerable amelioration.
