Renejoke

A comment which is only vaguely relevant to the situation and made with the intention of arousing amusement among peers. To qualify as a true renejoke the undertone must either be sexual or a downright trivial observation.

Tim: "I had a really nice day today"
Rene: "Oh, just like I did the other day"
...pause while everyone present waits for the tenuous link

Rene: "I fed a bag of stale pretzels to a gluten-intolerant child"
Tim: "Another 30 seconds of my life wasted on a Renejoke"

My craziness has a system

A phrase one can use when only when going so off-piste that even expressions describing off-pistness are adulterated.

Tim: "Hey Rene, that‘s a pretty curveball approach to pouring a red wine... but I guess it worked out alright"

Rene: "Well, my craziness has a system."
