A word used to describe someone who's basically worthless. Also known as "basic bitch", or "simple", is a slang term in American popular culture used to describe someone who likes mainstream products, trends, music or movies. These people don't think for themselves.

"Katie loves parrots and BB-8. She acting so basic right now."

"That girl thinks I'm serious right now. She basic."
