Facebook jealousy

is an emotion that develops when one realizes that a loved one has become a facebook addict. This emotion results in negative thoughts and feelings of insecurity, fear, and anxiety over the anticipated and most likely inevitable loss of the loved ones attention(s).

Upon awakening alone in the morning, Lauri checked her facebook page and saw that her boyfriend had been posting all night long into the wee hours of the morning. She was overwhelmed with facebook jealousy.
