Cracker

As most of you here seem to have some kind of misconception of the semantic difference between "cracker" and "nigger" let me just elaborate real quick:

Calling a white person a "cracker" is not even slightly the same as calling a black person a "nigger".
Why? Okay, let's see, where does "nigger" come from? Slavery, as in white people exploiting black people. So a white person calling a black person "nigger" means that she/he is referring to her/him as lower in status/worth.

Where does "cracker" come from? Slavery, too, as in white people exploting black people. So a black person calling a white person "cracker" means that she/he is referring to her/him as acting as if she/he were superior.

So now, every INTELLIGENT one of you, think and tell me which one of the two is worse.

Of course, it is actually quite stupid to use any of these two expressions (no matter what the color of your skin is), but reading the definitions at hand, I couldnt help but get the impression that there is still some deeply rooted racism in our society and everyone seems to begrudge each other. How about some peace?

Peter's father: Dont hang around with that nigger Dwayne my son, you're much better than that!

Dwayne's mother: I dont want you hanging around that boy Peter! His father is a real cracker!
