Brailling

Taken from the method blind people use to read, brailling is the tendency for non-blind people to have to touch or feel objects as they read them.

Although brailling does not improve one's ability to read, many people use it anyway.

guy 1: Dude, whats that guy doing to the back of that car?

guy 2: probably just brailling the license plate, no big deal.
