Khia

A term used on Stan Twitter used to describe an artist/singer as unknown or irrelevant. Artists like Tinashe, Mariah the Scientist, Remy Ma and Sabrina Carpenter would be described as a Khia.

The term Khia comes from a meme of a young woman crying tears of happiness over meeting American rapper Khia Finch, known for her 2002 hit single "My Neck, My Back (Lick It) with the caption “this bih was crying over meeting khia 😂😂😂”. The term started gaining traction in late-2022/early-2023 and is now a staple term in Stan Twitter culture.
