fix the attitude

A phrase that parents, bosses, and teachers use when they feel for whatever reason that their kid/employee is acting out and that he or she needs to be shown who's in charge and get in line. A way of defining oneself as being at the top of the food chain

Kid: I might as well fail that test on Friday because I don't really need this course anyways
Teacher: Fix the attitude, buster!
