Giving a negative connotation to a scenario or object. Usually referring to getting caught doing something illegal or illicit.

Jason: Hey man you can't come over tonight I gotta do all my chores.
Patrick: Damn that's popped. No worries I'll see you another day.

Dude that test was popped I'm pretty sure I failed that.
