bluff

Contraction of 'BL'og and fl'UFF'.

A weblog filled with nonesense or discussing circumstances that are so very specific that nobody could ever benefit from reading the weblog.

Can refer to whole blog sites or to specific blog posts.

Informative: "The blog entry was exactly as Jane said, just bluff with no real value".

Sarcastic: "More bluff, as if there ever was something useful in what they post in this blogsite".

Microsoftian

A 'Microsoftian' view is one that only supports what is already desired; disingenuous and pretentious at the same time.

Can be applied outside Microsoft discussions.

Slang, offensive.

See also 'formwhoring'.

"Please select which program you use for office documents:
A Microsoft Office 2000
B Microsoft Office 97
C Microsoft Office Pro
D Microsoft ...
E Microsoft ...
F Microsoft ...
G Microsoft ..."

('Microsoftian' in that you can only choose 'Microsoft' from the list. This list does not allow users to select 'Star Office', 'Open Office', 'Applixware', etc., all of which are office software suites that are in current use but are also NOT Microsoft software.)

And

"He said he wanted Chinese take out, but his Microsoftian demeanor during discussions left us no choice but to get italian take-out."

foogled

To be fooled by Google; believing everything one finds in Google.
Synonym: lamer, simpleton.
Antonym: wise, savvy, erudite

"On April 1 2007, Google offered a new service called 'Gmail Paper' which they said would print our Gmails for us but I forgot it was April Fools day and I was Foogled by the prank."
