gong meter

the level of "gong" in occurence at a give time. Related to the term gong show, which is used as a synonym for fubar, shit show, clusterfuck, or any kind of out of control, chaotic situation.

Person 1: "Man, this is ridiculous. Everyone's running around like chickens with their heads cut off."

Person 2: "Yeah, I'd say the gong meter is full."
