n. pretending to have blacked out from drinking, due to embarrassment or shame. Similar to the correctional fluid, it can be used to hide something from yourself and/or others, but is very superficial and can be easily uncovered.
White Out (Embarrassing Voicemail; Julie remembers but wishes she didn't):
Jeff: I liked your voicemail to me last night. ;)
Julie: Oops, did I call you? I'm sorry, I was completely blackout, I don't remember anything.
White Out (Sexts; Julie remembers, but Sober!Julie does not agree to terms made between Drunk!Julie and Jeff):
Jeff: Want to meet up around midnight tonight?
Julie: ...What?
Matt: You said last night you wanted to hook up.
Julie: Oh, I was blackout, I don't remember anything. I have other plans for tonight, sorry.
Kayla: Hey, how was last night?
Julie: Haha I don't remember anything. Complete black out.
(Kayla leaves)
Julie: I had sex with Jeff last night. I'm trying to white it out, help me.
Amy: I'll tell everyone you were with me the whole night.
