when one plus one does not equal two, etc. more precisely, a couple would be equal to 5 or more- as in wives

James: "check this out: I need a couple of bucks"

Bob: "will a five work?"

James: "dude, I like your mormon math.."

intended as a greeting, it approaches a yell- but holds back. A long, drawnout greeting. Also, what would be a mircrophone check when an artist comes on stage.

Me: "Heay..! Hows'd everyone doin' tonight?"

Crowd: "We're great!"

Random person: "Heay! Look at me!?!"
