NPR

Besides the other definitions on this site, NPR will also forever be termed "left-wing new media" or something of the sort because for some reason conservatives condemn anything that doesn't come from the right.

The fact of the matter is there is more journalism and civil debate on this station than any of the conservative syndicated talk show. Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, and Michael Savage (who is the only one really worth listening to) have a lot of fire and wind, but it's punditry. And their interviewer tactics mostly consist of shouting at any kind of statement that is contrary to their agenda. I'm not making this up either. Just fucking listen.

And America forgets sometimes that the news is supposed to be collected by field reporters and experts, not the talking heads who issue their opinions and tell you what to think.

Man 1: What are you listening to?

Man 2: All Things Considered on NPR.

Man 1: What is it?

Man 2: *turns to camera* THE FUCKING NEWS.
