A popular way to shorten the phrase 'Western Australia', a large state that covers the west coast of Australia.
This term has gained popularity after the COVID-19 pandemic gave many Australians a sense of pride in their state, an interest in state politics and a negative view of other states.
This may be particularly noticeable in Westralia because of Premier Mark McGowan's decision to close the border from the rest of Australia. While eastern states people and the national liberal government hated the premier for isolating them, Westralians everywhere were on board and separate from the rest of Australia flourished, with tourism actually being somewhat positively affected with less residents going overseas.
This re-ignited a conversation of whether Western Australia should be part of Australia at all and creating a distrust in the Liberal party that led to many safe seats being lost to Labor in the 2022 election, and the term 'Westralia' is really a way of showing your state identity.
Person 1: "I love westralia. It's epic."
Person 2: "We should become our own country! We have mining, agriculture, tourism - and Marky Mark of course! What's to lose?"
Person 1: "You're so right. Imagine how the arrogant eastern states like New South Wales and Victoria will survive without our food, money, wine..."
Person 2: "If we do, we should probably take South Australia, Northern Territory and Tasmania with us. You know, to be nice."
Person 1: "Nah, I'm okay with the NT and Adelaide, but we should just sell Tasmania to New Zealand."
A trans exclusionary radical feminist. She believes trans women aren't real women, which is quite strange given that trans women are quite epic to be able to overcome their mortal flesh and be women.
Oh, she also wrote a book series where a rich famous child born rich and famous uses his riches and famousness to get by in the world, and eventually kills someone with trauma who grew up in poverty.
Person 1: "Hey, I'm reading Harry Potter! It's alright, the writing is a bit mid, and I'm annoyed that the actor in the movies doesn't have green eyes."
Person 2: "Oh, yeah! By J.K. Rowling, right?"
Person 1: *looks into their eyes* "She who shall not be named, you mean. We do not utter terf's names in this household. Seperate the artist from the art, eh?"
Person 2: *nods vigorously*

/nf is a tone indicator meaning 'not forced'. it's to make clear to anyone reading a message that while it may sound like they are commanding them to take action, it's really no pressure.
as a tone indicator it is used to prevent miscommunication in text, and was designed to help autistics such as myself, but really everyone can benefit from tone indicators and using them is an easy way to avoid a twitter controversy over a full stop making you seem passive aggressive or something.

Also known as Markus Sircantus, popular dsmp fanfic writer on ao3, in particular for the group of minecraft creators known as SBI, (sleepy bois inc). Like, super popular. I read 4 sircantus fics before realising they were all written by him.

Person 1: "Yes! Also this really funny and fluffy one with a Sofia the first pun..."
Person 2: "I was a kid in a village, doing alright, then I became a prince overnight by sircantus?"

Person 1: "Wait what I thought I was branching out from just reading thcscus and reading loads of different authors. Noooooo."
An SBI fan fiction that will break your heart. Available on ao3 (and wattpad I suppose), it is essentially an analysis of grief, the way it affects people and how it is overcome, or more accurately, embraced.
At 76 000 words you can finish it in less than 5 hours, if not less than 3, but you will feel echoes of pain through your entire being for up to 70 years after reading. Upon rereading, the foreshadowing can and will tear your soul to pieces.
Also could be a song by The Oh Hellos, a Christian music group whose song the fanfic takes the name and chapter names from. True kids raised in church/cults will recognise the obvious references to the bible, (pushing the spear into your side again and again), but without context it's just a nice song about belonging and guilt and grief.
Person 1: "There was a terrible, terrible silenceâthe kind of silence that always came before something devastating. The calm before the storm. Tommy had always hated silences. It gave his mind too many spaces to fill with darkness. So he brought light, instead. Noise and laughter and jokes and jibes, anything to keep the quiet at bay."
Person 2: "STOP JUST SENDING PASSERINE QUOTES IN THE GROUP CHAT YOU'LL MAKE ME CRY"
Person 1: "LMAOOO"
