Traumaste

Traumaste generally means the trauma in me recognizes and honors the trauma in you; it occurs when someone with symptoms of trauma witnesses someone else exhibiting the same symptoms and realizes they each share a traumatic history without the other person telling them about it.

When Michelle told Lisa how afraid she was to be alone on an elevator with a man, Lisa responded with, “traumaste,” letting Michelle know Lisa also had a similar fear stemming from a traumatic incident with a man in her past.

Tweelete

When you catch a typo on your tweet and delete it, retype it correctly, and repost before anyone notices.

I used "your" instead of "you're" when berating someone's improper grammar, but I was able to tweelete it.

Hooddaughter

A female (male - Hoodson) (non gender binary - Hoodkid) child who, by virtue of residential proximity, affection, and/or family association, has spent so much time in your care, they are essentially your child.

When we moved out of the suburbs, we fell in love with city life, but we miss our hooddaughter, Allie Cheyenne, so much.

My hoodson is graduating from college next week, so I'm going to need the day off of work.

It takes a village to raise a child, and that's why we have so many hoodkids on our block.

accordial

When you are a pirate and are very cordial when you have an accord; politely agreeable, but when you’re a pirate.

I always get what I want when I bring Captain Jack Sparrow rum because it makes him quite accordial.

Distrumpia

the sensation that occurs upon realizing a prominent figure actually said, wrote, or did something so staggeringly stupid and/or insensitive it was originally believed to be satire; named for chronicly stupid and insensitive Donald Trump; alt. spelling “dystrumpia;” the state of distrumpia is “distrumpic,” alt. spelling “dystrumpic.”

I thought the late night shows were making fun of Donald Trump by exaggerating his inability to spell, but when I relaized he really did spell hamburger as “hamberder,” I was overcome with distrumpia.

I thought the story about the video of Kevin Spacey responding to his felony charges with an in character Frank Underwood video, but got some serious distrumpia when I saw the video.
