A deadline refers to a practice in earlier prison camps which were usually farms and therefore had no real fences and so the deadline was literally a perimeter line that if you crossed you would be shot and most likely killed.

Can you imagine if they were to enact old school deadlines in place of the modern equivalent? I bet everyone would turn their work in on time with that kind of pressure. Unless of course they were suicidal and too lazy to do it themselves.

Blues describes both a musical genre as well as the emotional state that produces it. Usually related to heartbreak, death, loss, being broke & generally treated like shit is the the blues.

A presstitute is a journalist who will print or not print any story if payed to do so. Usually the presstitutes boss acts as a pimp because people will pay off the boss and he/she as pimp will make sure his hoes does what the client wants.

A Leotard is a cop that is retarded or generally just a dumb ass. Comes from the LEO which is short for law enforcement officer and tard as in retard.

I got pulled last night by this cop but turned out to be a leotard and so I just kicked him in the balls and just drove away and he didn't chase me either. Probably because his fat ass was too retarded to get back in his car.
