Female out

When you read/watch a series/book/movie, and there is a male character that is obviously homosexual, or two male characters that are obviously homosexual together, a FEMALE OUT is that female character that is the weak but possible love interest for the homosexual characters that renders their homosexual status unstable.

"I don't think she's a legitimate love interest; she's just a female out."

"They're such a couple. They don't even have a female out."
