Digitally transferred disease, a virus/bug that is transferred between two computers via a data connection.

Scott: I got a DTD downloading the My Little Pony back catalog off of that torrent site lastnight.
Michael: Damn son, i told you you would get a virus doing that, you need to get that laptop to the clinic .
