Leo

Born on October 25th, year unspecified, Leo Baskerville was a fictional character described as a noirette who lived in the 1800's and used to own large fake glasses he did not need in the first place. His reasoning to having the glasses was because he did not want to see the world. His best friend was Elliot Nightray. The two decided to be friends when they were fourteen, and both attended Lutwidge Academy until they were about sixteen or seventeen.

Leo Baskerville was best described to be a bookworm, who was in an overall good mood unless you got between him and his books. If interrupted in the middle of a good story, he became irritable and violent.
He used to have long, unkempt hair and would hurt anyone who tried to cut it or fix it. He once almost murdered a man for trying to give him a haircut, and probably would have if Elliot had not stopped him.

After both his parents were killed when he was young due to an accident involving a chain, he was sent to The House of Fianna; an orphanage that held kids orphaned by chain-related incidents. That is where Elliot and Leo met and became friends.

His life changed completely after his best friend died a gruesome death.

They are referring to a piano composition Elliot had written.
Leo: .. such a nice melody. Have you already thought of a title?
Elliot: "Statique."
Leo: Something that never changes, right? You like the language of the flowers? That's a girl thing..
Elliot: S-SHUT UP! My sister likes that stuff! MY SISTER! And you're pretty well informed on the subject yourself!*angry blush*

Elliot: Do you really like it so much?
Leo: Yes. I think it's going to be a great piece.
Elliot: .. then this song will be my present to you.
Leo: I see.. as proof of our eternal friendship? Enough with that cheesy stuff!
Elliot: What are you talking about? Enough with that foul mouth of yours!

This is another day, some random day that was never specified.
Elliot: .. alright. I've made up my mind. I want you to be my servant!
Leo: What's this, all of a sudden?
Elliot: This is not a snap decision. You are what I've always been looking for. I think my servant.. should be someone as irritating as you. Someone I can speak to openly. My friend and equal.
Leo: What? No way. No way in hell.
-Few days later-
Leo: The Nightray Library piques my interest. And then again, I have to admit that.. you're not so bad. So.. I accept your offer, master.
Elliot: That's it?
Leo: Huh?
Elliot: If you have any requests, you'd better speak now.
(handshake)
Leo: Well then.. It would be great if you could buy me a pair of glasses.
Elliot: Do you want to hide even more?
