kinner

New Zealand slang; a derogatory term for an extremely short or poorly executed haircut, usually on a male. May be a contraction of "skinner". Popular in the 1960s and 70s but seldom heard among the younger generation today, who have no equivalent.

"Nice kinner! Did you fall under the lawn mower again?

Crattle

New Zealand idiomatic word for spherical and/or dried lumps of animal faeces, typically those left by a sheep or rabbit but may also refer to excrement of larger animals once it has dried and begun to disintegrate

"You can tell we're in rabbit country because of all the crattles; you can see that they're smaller and more numerous than those left by a sheep."
