the few tiny hairs that grow on the sides of a persons upper lip. often seen on mexicans and young boys who can't grow in a full mustache yet. reference to the "mustaches" on catfish.

sorry, you can't grow a real mustache yet, but those little whiskers on the sides of your lips are shaping up to be a pretty good catfish mustache
