Heads Up Homie

A phrase originally used to indicate that the coach of a sports team is on the verge of being fired due to lackluster performance. It has been more generally applied to anyone in danger of any sort of failure.

Rich Rod, heads up homie don't lose to Ohio State again.

Heads up homie, you're going to have some bad karma after that short sale of your last house.

Guy one: Has anyone seen that guy Kalr? I liked that guy but he hasn't been here in a while so I haven't heard from him because he hasn't been around.

Guy two: Last I saw he was in that pie line, he was going first.

Guy one: Someone was going second?

Guy two: Yeah, Karl.
