A made-up personality disorder that makes someone ridicule everything and preventing the person from being serious about anything at all.
Person 1: You shouldn't make jokes at someone's funeral.
Person 1: Sorry, I suffer from ridiculitis.
Coined on episode 33 of the Bloody Gun Club podcast, to nerdcheck is to correct someone with (overly) technical details, especially when it has no real effect on the conversation or situation. The correction usually starts with, "actually" or "technically." It usually makes you want to yell, "WHATEVER!" in their face.
"Person1: The song is 3 minutes long."
"Person2: Technically, 3 minutes and 2 seconds."
"Person1: Don't ever nerdcheck me again."

The wild uproar from fans of particular subject matter or a public figure when anything is done with the subject matter or public figure regardless of the quality of what is being done to, with or by the subject matter or public figure.
