Spanish word. Superlative feminine adjective of ugly. The superlative masculine adjective is 'feísimo'. This word is gramatically correct, unlike another word with the same meaning, in use: 'horriblìsimo' (bad grammar) In Mexico it is usual to say 'más feísimo (a)' although it is bad grammar.

Contemporary U. S. politics have brought this word to greater relevance, as the anti-gringo feeling has spread throughout the world.
