When a person in your family or friend group pretends to know how to do something and instead makes a complete clusterfuck out the situation pretending it wasn't them.

Jim: Hey, did you see Dan last night try to make cocktails? That was pretty useless.
Mark: Yeah, too bad Bob got explosive diarrhea afterwards.
