Solarpunk is a movement focused on a positive, ecological vision for a future where technology is used for human-centric and ecocentric purposes. It is a literary, artistic and aesthetic sub-genre and is also closely tied to eco-political activism. Solarpunk narratives have a distinctly positive and utopian foundation in contrast to the often dystopian visions found within other "punk" science fiction genres.
Solarpunk is a literary movement, a hashtag, a flag, and a statement of intent about the future we hope to create.

Cli-fi is a contraction of climate fiction. It is a literary genre of works with a climate change theme. There is some argument over whether it is a sub-genre of science fiction or a genre in its own right.
Many cli-fi works raise awareness about the major threats that climate change and global warming present to life on Earth.

A person that lives and works in a foreign country while acting as if they never left their home country.
James was unfamiliar with the local language and culture as he rarely ventured outside the expat bubble.

An ansible is a fictional device that enables instantaneous communication across vast distances in space. It overcomes the problem of delays in communication due to the limit of the speed of light. The term was first coined by Ursula Le Guin and has subsequently been adopted by other science fiction writers.
With the ansible communicator, you could talk with that world as if by radio with the next town.
Ustopia is a term coined by author Margaret Atwood. It is formed by combining the words utopia and dystopia. Atwood argues that "each contains a latent version of the other."
I suppose that's what happens to ustopian societies when they die: they don't go to Heaven, they become thesis topics.
