The phrase can be attributed to Wiz Kid's famous song"Caro"; whereas the act of looking for Caro refers to actually looking for that one special girl every guy dreams about marrying. Literally "Miss Perfect".

Guy 1: "Yo bro, I hear you and Ashley broke up?
Guy 2: "Yeah, I'm back to looking for Caro."
