The action of scrolling through someone’s Instagram account and pictures but not liking any of them, simply just to see them. This is especially used by a person who happens to like someone. They use this tactic to learn more about their crush.
I have a crush on the guy and instagram stalking is the only way I get to see him.

The act of using the map on the app Snapchat to see which of your friends are hanging out when and where. Also a way to see when someone was last on their Snapchat.

Roster Stalking is useful when attempting to determine the name of a classmate with whom you have never spoken. It is performed by perusing the online roster of a class, and then typing those names into Facebook until you recognize the picture of the person you are trying to find. A useful tool, but can quickly devolve into creeping.

The act of looking someone up on WIN (Wake Information Network) to find out someone's year, major, and where they live (and then to promptly look up their house on Zillow).
I'm WIN stalking Mark, and I found out he has a LAKE HOUSE on Zillow!
Crush-stalk (verb)
When you like someone as a friend, but really LIKE them so you start checking their Facebook, their Instagram, their Twitter, and liking everything. You start your own chapter of their fan club. You crush on them platonically, but more like on a superfriend level. Teeters on obsessive.
I was crush-stalking Hal's Facebook. "HeY! I was crush-stalking you on Facebook and saw you post your love for Lily Tomlin. Sounds like YOU are crush-stalking HER."
