A middle-class mentality is a toxic anti-intellectual mentality that takes people and societies backwards in life.
Signs that someone has this mentality are: Buying lots of things on credit and getting into a lot of debt, going to uni to get a job for comfort, living paycheck to paycheck, and not having a plan for the future.
People with this mentality also have a big disdain for rich and smart people as they see these pursuits as "egotistical". They think being humble is having no ambition and constantly searching for hedonistic pursuits. They're people who don't like facts and prefer to have an idealistic point of view no matter how destructive it is.
People who grow up with this mentality are typically middle class but it can affect anyone of any class. People with this mentality often leave their kids with very little due to the fact they don't understand money and don't have any knowledge to pass down.
"Simon says I think about money too much and I should just have fun because money doesn't last. But I want to make money because I grew up poor and I want my kids to have more."
"Don't listen to Simon, he grew up with a lawyer dad and doctor mom, money is nothing to him, he has a middle class mentality."

The act of fixing a problem for the short term when in the long run you will end up needing to spend more time and money to fix a larger problem.
A: Why are there weird lines down the middle of the road?
B: The city thought it was a good idea to pave the road without spending the money to pull up the trolly tracks first.

The act of doing something completely out of the ordinary or utterly embarrassing in front of a group of strangers with the notion that you won't ever see them again anyway making it difficult for them to pass future judgement.
Also known as Burning-Man Mentality.

A "Beaurocratics Anonymous Mentality" plagues usually dedicated, but susceptible former government employees, sometimes ruining marriages, and yes, even lives!
These folks who, after dismissal of any sort by a government or government contract industry, struggle daily, either alone or with others, to resurrect their former mental status to normal.
As the stalifying beaurocracy that it is, government brainwashes its employees to spend the most time and the most money on any project assigned to them with overwhelming preliminary hogwash such as diagrams, blue prints, and specifications in order to complete the most simple, or preliminary tasks. They can also incur much overhead in "down time" due to repetition after poor success in one area or another.
Any simple government regulated chore can be deterred by pages of grandiloquent specifications and regulations, or of just plain old BS.
When dedicated employees return to the real world, they have great difficulties adjusting in order to complete ordinary tasks easily, inexpensively and finally, successfully.
They frequently convene in small groups of two or more at Malls, churches and other social settings to converse and exchange methods of removing this mindset in hopes of pursuing an ordinary life, uninhibited by these beaurocratic brainwashing constraints.
A"Beaurocratics Anonymous Mentality"verbal exchange with an old co-worker made me late for lunch.

Creedmoor Mental Hospital is a psychiatric institution for mentally disabled or challenged persons. It is located in Queens Village, NY and can be seen from the Tribourough Bridge entering Queens. It is known for its abusive and cruel treatment toward patients and numerous barbed wire fences surrounding the hospital. Protective bars cover all the windows to prevent any escape or suicidal attempts from patients. Working in this hospital can be pretty dangerous.
Dan: "Yo, what happened to Bill?"
Jenny: "He ended up in Creedmoor Mental Hospital"
Dan: "Oh, he must've been really mental."
